Edgar Wurfbain

Edgar Wurfbain Edgar's career began as an actor in several different series such as, 'Onderweg Naar Morgen (ONM) ', Goudkust, Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden and Costa. Alongside that, he was the lead in many motion pictures such as Het Glinsterende Pantser and Volle Maan.
In 1998, he studied acting and direction in America, and on his return to The Netherlands he trained in various workshops in the areas of direction and production at the Open Studio in Amsterdam.

At Starsound Productions, Edgar is responsible for concepts and creations. Furthermore, Edgar looks after the daily supervision of the 'office floor' and the commercial company activities.

Dennis de Rijk

Dennis de Rijk Dennis' roots lie in music. After completing his classical music training, he studied Sound Engineering in Hilversum.
 
Putting his composing skills to one side, he received a one year contract with a subsidiary of the NOB in the areas of sound and images.
 
At Starsound Productions, Dennis is responsible for the technical areas of the studio, audio operations, music composition and 2D/3D animations.

Dick Peters (strategy and policy)

Dick Peters Until 1989, Dick had gained considerable experience in a wide-range of specialised and executive functions within local authorities and governmental departments. In 1990, Dick and a business partner set up and managed  'Societas' which he later sold to the recruitment agency Vedior, now part of Tempo Team. After this, he worked as a consultant for MKB Nederland, where he advised numerous new companies and supported the back office of a marketing company. Dick is mainly focused on the organisational and strategic direction and policies of Starsound Productions.


Sonja
Schiphorst (producer)

Sonja Schiphorst
Sonja was educated at the Culturele Maatschappelijke Vorming, specialising in educational media. She made a couple of detours along the way though.

In 2000, she worked at the Amsterdam advertising company, PMSvW/ Y&R and produced radio and television commercials for Amstel and KPN, as well as for other corporate clients. Thereafter she worked as a Casting Consultant with a casting bureau that made voiceovers for commercials and company films.

Sonja is a logical producer and an organisational link in the company between client and the executives. 


Robin
Brinkhuijsen (editor)

Robin Brinkhuijsen
Robin's career began as a Runner and Assistant Director with Westerwind; later he also worked on productions such as ONM, GTST, Goudkust, Dok 12 and Wet en Waan. Furthermore, he was also active as a Casting Assistant, as well as Personal Assistant to the Director of Soul Assassin.

After his education in the science of Communication Management in 2001, he followed a study in Audiovisual design at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam.

He came to Starsound Productions after following his passion for film and editing; he left an audiovisual company, where he worked as a cameraman/editor. He now works at Starsound Productions as Fulltime Editor.


  Patricia de Jong (Office manager)

Patricia de Jong(Office manager)

Patricia began her career as a secretary in real estate. They supported it in the rental management of retail properties.

By Starsound Productions, as a office manager she is include responsble for the administrative processing of all the productions. At the same time she follows in the evening a education Human Resource Management.


 Mavis Bernard (Intern)

Thirza de Wit (Intern)

In 2008 Mavis started to study Media. Information and Communication at the University of Amsterdam. She chose to study 'Editorial and media production', the study direction production she likes the most. After her internship of 5 months, she will graduate early next year. After graduating she will not stay in the Netherlands, she will follow a productionworkshop 'New York Film Academy' 

She has been involved as runner at 3FM Serious Request and just be able to help on the set of the new police serie 'Seinpost Den Haag'.

She loves: beach, city, music, fashion, film and television. So she can not redeem The Hague for Amsterdam, because the Vondelpark is no Scheveningen. She like to listen (live) to known and unknown bands. She loves art-house films, but also the big blockbusters and finds it a sport to discover errors.
