West International is first television programme in the Netherlands thatis specifically aimed at expats and internationally orientated people that live and work in The Hague and surrounding areas. In addition to life style, culture, entertainment, sport and interviews with leading figures from national and international backgrounds, the programme also provides practical information about life in The Netherlands.
Paul Brown, and his two co-presenters, Nicola Courtney and Cecilia Aquino will be providing you with information on a variety of topics including news, culture, lifestyle, local services etc.
The programme will be presented in English with Dutch subtitles; it can also be viewed in French via teletext.
From the 26 January 2009 you will be able to watch the programme weekly at 11:30 and 22:30 on TV West.
Due to the increasing number of expats in this region, TV West contracted Starsound Productions to create a pilot show which provided information in the areas of news, culture and entertainment relevant to expats.
In the programme, the presenters cover different topics in the areas of news, culture, life-style, services etc. The programme will be part of the weekly schedule of RTV West (Omroep West).
Radio West 89.3FM and TV West are the news and information channels for the northern part of the Dutch province 'Zuid Holland'. Omroep West’s programmes daily reach over 400,000 people in 51 municipal authorities including The Hague, Leiden and Gouda.
